ServiceFactor Release Notes: June 25th 2026
This release focuses on QuickBooks sync reliability, dispatch board and reporting fixes, mobile sync and search consistency.
QuickBooks sync improvements
Duplicate invoices and duplicate customers that could be created during
QuickBooks Online sync have been resolved. The QuickBooks sync button on the vendor edit screen is working again. Vendor bill sync now uses a rolling 90-day window so older partially paid bills no longer hold up newer ones. On QuickBooks Desktop, employees marked inactive in ServiceFactor no longer appear as active. Credit memo sync errors that prevented credit memos from importing into ServiceFactor have been fixed.
Invoicing and billing
Progress (percentage) billing now reconciles to the exact contract total,
eliminating the one-cent rounding offsets that could appear when splitting a contract across multiple progress invoices. Service agreement savings amounts now calculate consistently between the mobile app and the web.
Dispatch board
The dispatch board no longer displays misaligned time slots when you switch between days. Work orders copied to the next day now stay on the correct day when a technician changes status to Working.
Reports
The “Scheduled Calls” dispatch report has a "Include Unassigned Calls" checkbox to add unassigned/unscheduled calls to the report, as well as filters for Work Order and Invoice statuses. The COD report now displays correctly, and the Contract Required Materials by Customer report populates as expected.
Work orders and service agreements
The service agreement dropdown on a new work order no longer auto-selects an agreement, so an agreement (and its discount) is only applied when you choose it.
The reason for a service call (Problem Reported) now prints on the customer invoice PDF, shown in a clearly labeled section near the top whenever it has been filled in. The Problem Reported field now supports line breaks across the app.
Mobile
Accepted quotes are now protected during mobile sync, so an accepted quote can no longer be silently overwritten. Item search in the mobile app now returns the same results as the office for the same keyword. Duplicate timeline entries created from the mobile app have been fixed.
Communication templates
You can now add multiple CC email addresses to a communication template. A default reply-to address is now required at the system level so replies route correctly.
Other improvements
"Master" has been renamed to "Settings" across the platform, the "Additional" column in License Details has a clearer name, and the Contact on Primary field on Edit Customer is now marked as required.
Bug fixes
A range of customer-reported issues have been resolved in this release, including duplicate timeline and timesheet entries, dispatch record status mismatches, report population issues, and several other targeted fixes.
